From Letterkenny by car:  Take the N56 out

of Letterkenny.  Just after the town of Kilmacrennan turn left onto the R255 for Glenveagh National Park.  This will join onto the R251.  Dunlewey is the first town you will meet.

From Donegal Town:  Take the N56 out of

Donegal Town and head for Ardara, then

Glenties, then north to Dungloe and on to Gweedore. 

Then turn right onto 251 for Glenveagh National Park.  Dunlewey is the first village you will meet.

This brand new hostel features 60 beds, and some rooms

are ensuite.  There is a selection of twin, four and six-bedded rooms from which to choose.  Some bedrooms have been built in the mezzanine fashion.

-visit Glenveagh National Park (beautiful  16,000 acres of          mountain, bogs, lakes, and woods is cut in two by the spectacular valley of Glenveagh.  It overlooks the lough

where Glenveagh Castle is located.  Made from rough-hewn granite, the castle, a castlellated mansion, was built between 1870 and 1873.

-visit Ards Forest Park (bays, rivers, loughs, beaches, salt marshes, valleys, viewing points, deer enclosures, and historic monuments, are woven together by a series of fascinating nature trails.
